The PT-60 is a high-performance rubber track loader with exceptional power and versatility that is ideal
for many construction, landscaping, utility and private-owner applications. The front-mounted quick-attach
interface gives the PT-60 the versatility of using virtually any industry-standard attachment.
The PT-60’s undercarriage uses 24 wheels to spread the machine’s weight over the length and width of its
rubber tracks. By using a maximum number of wheels, the weight per wheel is lower, track life is longer
and you get ASV’s legendary traction that makes them the best in the industry. Suspension of the
undercarriage increases traction even more, promotes longer machine and track life, and keeps the operator
comfortable all day long. This patented technology keeps the PT-60 productive in virtually any ground condition.
Unlike other brands, the PT-60 is a purposebuilt rubber track loader with careful attention to geometry
and distribution of machine weight. As a result, the PT-60 has better balance, excellent ground clearance
and traction that sets it apart from all others.
The PT-60 is powered by a smooth, reliable 2.2 liter, 4-cylinder Perkins turbocharged diesel engine. With
60 hp (44.7 kW), 140 ft-lb (190 Nm) of torque and no derating below 9,840 ft (3000 m), the PT-60 is ideal
for tackling tough jobs in virtually any environment, even high altitudes. A twospeed powertrain gives it
more torque for aggressive digging in the low speed range. In high speed you get lightning-fast travel -
38% faster than the previous model. The track drive system uses unique drive sprockets with rotating
sleeves that mesh with the tracks’ rubber lugs for highlyefficient and smooth transfer of power to the
tracks. Steering response on the PT-60 is better than previous models thanks to wider track spacing.
The PT-60 can be outfitted with a choice of enclosed cabs that can include air conditioning and/or heat
for working comfortably in inclement weather. An improved door option offers better sealing and a more
robust handle. Pilot-operated joysticks give you low effort and precise control of machine speed,
direction, loader and attachments. A new instrumentation package includes more gauges and warning lights
than previous models.
The standard PT-60 is outfitted with general purpose tracks. They include moderate treads for use in the
widest range of ground conditions and applications. For applications where extremely wet, soft or slippery
conditions are expected, the Extreme Terrain Tracks are a good option. These include deep tread lugs for
better gripping action, wider lug spacing for better self-cleaning and are 10% wider for improved
flotation. They perform best in swampy, muddy or snowy conditions.
If you regularly work on delicate or fragile surfaces, consider the exclusive Turf Track option. These
offer excellent traction and operation on dry surfaces, yet have a unique smooth surface for scuff-free
performance and ultimate protection of turf, landscaping and similar surfaces. They can be used year-round
on most dry surfaces. Turf Tracks are available exclusively on select ASV machines.
