The PT-30 is the most compact of ASV’s Rubber Track Loaders and gives a single person the productivity of
an entire crew of hand labor. It has the maneuverability to work in confined or difficult-to-reach areas
and very low ground pressure so it works over sensitive areas with minimal impact.
The PT-30’s undercarriage uses 24 wheels to spread the machine’s weight over the length and width of its
rubber tracks. By using a maximum number of wheels, the weight per wheel is lower, track life is longer
and you get ASV’s legendary traction that makes them the best in the industry. Suspension of the
undercarriage increases traction even more, promotes longer machine and track life, and keeps the operator
comfortable all day long. This patented technology keeps the PT-30 productive in virtually any ground
condition. With less ground pressure under its tracks than a person on foot, it works on fragile surfaces
like lawns and landscaping with minimal impact.
The PT-30 is powered by a rugged and reliable 1.5 liter, 3-cylinder Perkins diesel engine and a time
proven hydrostatic powertrain that includes direct drive motors and unique sprockets with rotating
sleeves. The sprockets mesh with the track’s drive lugs for a highly efficient and smooth transfer of
power that let you breeze through tough, demanding jobs.
Operating the PT-30 is simple and comfortable from a seated position inside the protective ROPS/FOPS
canopy. Optional cab enclosures can include a heater, sound insulation and wiper to let you operate
comfortably in inclement weather.
Ergonomic pilot-hydraulic joysticks let you operate the PT-30 with minimal effort and precision. Even a
novice operator can become productive with the PT-30 in a very short time. A thumbswitch on the right-hand
joystick gives you intermittent ON/OFF control of auxiliary hydraulics. A switch lets you select a
continuous mode for full-time auxiliary hydraulic power.
The PT-30 can be outfitted with a wide range of loader-mounted attachments, each performance-matched so it
connects easily and works productively. Included are buckets, rakes, a brushcutter, mowers, blades, a
snowblower, backhoe, broom, land leveler, pallet forks and many more. Powered attachments connect easily
to the PT-30’s standard auxiliary hydraulic system.
Standard tracks on the PT-30 are general purpose tracks that feature moderate treads for working in the
widest range of ground conditions and applications. For applications that call for extreme care and
protection of fragile surfaces, consider the optional Turf Tracks. These unique tracks offer excellent
traction and operation on drier surfaces and have completely smooth surface for scufffree performance and
ultimate protection of turf, landscaping and similar surfaces.
